The Synod now offers our database solution for churches and governing bodies of the presbyterian church.  Our database is written using Microsoft Access 2007. The database is specifically designed to allow both small churches and large churches to use the database with ease. A small church will never have to leave the first screen, while larger churches will have custom screens for each ministry area. 

The database features:

• Tracking of church membership, leadership groups, and events, library checkout, service attendance and Sunday school.
• A stewardship module which tracks pledges, donations, and funds.
• Member reports for taxes and annual statistical reports.

Microsoft Access 2007 and Microsoft Outlook 2007 are required to take advantage of all of the features in the database. You can purchase licenses for Microsoft Office Professional 2007, which includes Access and Outlook, through the Synod at a discount. See Software Purchasing for more information.

Unfortunately at this time we can not support the Run-Time version of Access, and the database cannot be converted to Access 2003 as it utilizes many new features of 2007.

Policy and Fee Structure
For most of the churches in our Synod (those with an average attendance of up to 250 people) we offer the database free of charge. For larger churches in our synod we ask for a donation. For ministries outside of our Synod, we have a nominal charge which helps us cover our maintenance, upgrades, and hardware costs. For more detailed information, see our Policy and Fee Structure.
