Speakers and Workshop Leaders:

Nancy Copeland-Payton is our keynote speaker. Nancy has served as a pastor, physician,
and spiritual director. She is from Sandpoint, Idaho. She is an author, her latest book is “The Losses of Our Lives: The Sacred Gifts of Renewal in Everyday Loss.”

Unzu Lee is on the staff of Presbyterian Women in Louisville. She will speak on the
Book of Revelation (the 2010-11) Horizon Bible study and on racial-ethnic concerns

Rev. Lynn Jones is a pastor who felt called to found the Manna Project, located in Pasco
WA. The Manna Project reaches out to Spanish speaking children and families.
Lynn has recently returned from a mission trip to Turkey.

Rachael Tengbom is a native of the Maasai tribe and founder of ‘Voices of Hope’, an
organization that rescues girls in Kaljiado, Kenya, Rachael’s home town. Voices of Hope
is based in Kennewick and provides Maasai girls with education and a safe place to live.

Cheryl Broetje will share what happened when she and husband Ralph felt called to do
as God asks all of us to do - bring Him first fruit. Broetje Orchards employs 1,000 permanent employees and their foundation, Vista Hermosa, focuses on helping people.

Dr. Oscar Perdomo will lead a workshop on immigration issues. A retired Presbyterian minister and native of Honduras, he obtained his doctorate from Austin Theological Seminary.

Also - Worship, Communion, Fellowship, Singing, Market Place and Bookstore Business Meeting, the Election and Installation of Officers.

Child care is offered but MUST be requested ahead of time.

About Global Exchange
Every three years, a group of Presbyterian Women travel to another part of the world to listen to the pain and the joy that their sisters experience and to share their faith stories and ministries with each other. It is a global exchange because, the following year, a group of women from the same part of the world are invited to attend the Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women to tell their stories to their North American sisters.
